I noted in the stress test that the Ranger was only allowed one land and one water pet to fight with. The Ranger pet has had its condition damage all but removed in prior releases, so they don’t pose and overwhelming advantage. Why are we now weakening the Ranger further by removing one of their pets from the battle. We still have the button to switch pets, but there is obviously no second pet to switch to. Please don’t do this to the Range. We need the option of changing pets during roam and battles to be able to use an appropriate pet against foe.

While back the rangers got the much needed buffs to be on par with the rest of the classes. Instead of the players coming up with new builds to handle the rangers new buffs they cried like mad and got them nerfed quick. Rangers will always be subpar!

I don’t think this is a change – I think that was only because it created your character as new character (which under normal circumstances you only get one anyway) in the new zone – and the new zone didn’t at that time have any charmable pets.

Remember even if you unlock the pet swap under the normal game, if you haven’t charmed anything new, you still only have one pet at the time. So I doubt they are removing the second pet from our rangers

RAngers had 2 pets in the stress test. Infact you could pick any the available pets without needing to tame them. I used the black widow spider even though my account hasnt got it inlocked, and jungle spider during the test. You just needed to go in pet management and select the unused spot
