Not sure if this is an April Fools prank or not, but here is the article that says the release date is August 28, 2015.

i would suggest reading everything first before jumping to conclusions

Calling it fake. Author clearly wasn’t aware that the original release of GW2 was on August 28, among other telling signs of made-uppery.

When it’s not a place holder it’s a prank, besides we all know darn well Anet would not announce it for that far away many players would flat out quit knowing there’s another 5 months to wait. I would be first, another 6 weeks without a date and I’m flat out. I also need to read the words, closed beta test by April 7th as well.

Imagine if they said it on April 8th

Impatient people. Anet will tell us when the release date is. ANY SITE OTHER THAN GW2 IS SPECULATING. Until they announce it officially, it’s just rumors. This isn’t new. This is industry standard.

Abbadon Dance off?! This is exactly what we’ve been asking for! GW2:DDR for the win!

For me more interesting thing is what if someone really buy and pay for it?
