Where are the renown hearts in HoT? To me, this system really pulled together the various areas and forced you to explore and kill mobs. Now, as a solo, i am just running around these new areas trying to evade mobs, which is really counter to what the original GW2 was.

Outposts. The map-wide events are what you do.

They were replaced by outposts.
