It would be wonderful if we could place signposts and letters inside the guild halls for people to read. That way we wouldn’t have to fill up the MOTD with pointless drivel, while still providing useful context when needed.

One problem we have in our guild hall is keeping track of decorators and decorations. We tend to bump against the decoration limit and it causes friction.

Personally, for my guild hall, I build the JP’s, and it’s really hard to tell people where certain points of interest they can glide to are without making giant red lantern arrows (which sucks up a lot of decoration space).

Yeeees. Absolutely, yes. This would provide interesting ways to advertise guild events and things. You want to know when Guild Missions are? There’s a sign beside the central waypoint. Social events? Check the billboard in the Tavern. Gathering? Sign’s in the workshop. PvP event? Details are on a sign in the Arena Stadium. Is there something special about this building? Yep, here’s the info right nearby.

Of course, event lists would still need to be in the MOTD. And to avoid trolls and things, limit the ability to place these signs to ranks with both Decorator and MOTD edit permissions.

Creating a largely noticeable sign, however, may also help with the occasional members who don’t read the MOTD. Place it above the gathering nodes in the hall, and it reflects the MOTD in the world.
