Anyone know for sure how many hero points it’ll take? I know that you have to be level 80 to unlock it, but do you also have to have every core spec and utility line complete first?

Since the elite spec is coming out, players will have 6 different specializations to choose between. I personally have 2 different builds with different traits. It would be amazing to be able to save the specializations and change between them without having to pick every single trait from the beginning.

Nobody knows yet. Might be possible to even unlock before 80 if you have the correct amount of hero points

Unless Anet changed their minds, we actually know that you have to be level 80 to unlock elite specs.

I wouldn’t expect a character needing more than just 1) having HoT, 2) being level 80 and 3) having the right number of hero points. We’ll have to wait and see though.

Not that it makes a huge difference, but has level 80 been confirmed? Third spec slot opens at lvl 71.

I really hope that it doesn’t take too long to open elite specs up.

Like I said, the latest we’ve heard is that level 80 is one of the requirements.
