Guild Wars 2

I was wondering if anyone has a web series, youtube channel, website guide or social media accounts… anything that would help a returning player prep for HoTs. I am interested in learning what happened during the last 20 episodes and perhaps know if there is any class progression or gear grinding that I should be doing. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your time.

You can peruse the Wiki to get up-to-date on the Story.

Not sure how long you have been away, but the BiS for gear is Ascended. It isn’t really necessary, but if you are of a mind, you can work towards that.

thanks for the update I forgot the wiki is solid for the most part. Should i finish the character story or that something I can ignore?

You should only do the Personal Story up to Level 60, as the PS will be reworked sometime in the future. (Not too long from now, I am guessing.)
