If Revenant Utility are locked, what about Specialization?

Unlike other class Specializations, which still gain access to some of their parent class’ skills to mix and match with,

If the channel skills are locked, that means that its likely the Revenant’s specialization will also use a locked skill bar as well if it hopes to be able to use any of the parent class skills, which all come from channels, which are locked to that specific channel.

It’s still up in the air as to whether or not they are locked. My hope is they give us choices for heal and utilities per Legend. It would be a real bummer to have no weapon swap and locked skills for 6-9 per Legend.

It also made me wonder if the toggles on the utilities were showing because you could replace those with racial skills and racial skills only.

I am super hype on the Rev., but that doesn’t mean it I don’t think the class feels rushed. If it were fully fleshed out we would have choices for utilities per Legend.

What if they did the opposite and reworked it to let you customize your individual weapon skills on the Revenant?

As a specialization I’d like to see a Revenant become a Summoner, calling forth the Legends from the Mists to fight at his side.

Please no. We’ve got one class dedicated to the gimmick of having a pet and five others who can choose to do so.

Don’t waste slots on this beautifully-designed profession to fill that already tapped-out role.

Unless it’s a puppeteer playstyle where it’s an expansion of your attacks it will usually fail, not enough control with others.

Maybe THIS is exactly how the Rev’s Spec works
Since we know specs could change class mechanics it could be possible that the Spec looses legendswap but get a customization Option (you can choose now from all utilities) and even give a weapon swap to compensate.

We still know very (very!) little about the rev and even less about specializations …so I think we’ll have to wait

But I love to speculate (to reduce the waiting)
