tbh auto attack needs to be 3/4s cast time instead of 1 and drop the hammer needs to be 1.25 or even 1 instead of 1.75.
the hammer is big, it’s slow so if people manage to dodge 3/4s pindowns then it’s your own fault if you, you not in yourself but in general, can’t dodge that skill…
even dragon’s tooth (ok it’s 900 range) is 1s and i have yet to see a (decent) player to not dodge this.
lowering the casting time and lowering the range too would maybe be a good thing.
Classes are balanced around spvp and i can tell you already that drop the hammer will be hard to land there. I agree with opinion above
I also see revenant as it’s current form as hugely problematic for WvWvW. I know hammer #5 has a long cast time, but imagine enemy zerg having 10 revenants. They cast their hammer #5 one second after another. After you are knocked down for, you will be having a few elementalist meteor showers + power necro wells on you. GG
Reventant felt very strong in the short beta test. It can face tank a lot of pve monsters, deal very nice AoE damage with lots of conditions, gain immunity to conditions and so on.
I also see revenant as it’s current form as hugely problematic for WvWvW. I know hammer #5 has a long cast time, but imagine enemy zerg having 10 revenants.
How is that different from warriors spamming earthshaker and eles static fields which you cant even dodge? WvW is a mess in current form and revenant wont make it worse cause it bad enough

Ele’s static field has 40 s cooldown and warrior’s earthshaker is 600 leap, not a 1200 ground targeted skill. Those are huge differences.
In the beta test I could easily spam drop hammer every second (there was enough energy for it).
Adding more imbalance is always bad.

Doesnt change the fact that theres still load of cc already. If anything you should worry more about their anti projectile wall as i can already see them going on front line and blocking all incoming projectiles away from zerg. 6 renevants should be enough to cover front line with their 50% uptime. Btw in current state if you pay attention to this skill you can walk over it radius range – i doubt you even need to dodge it.
