During the stress test, did anybody happen to hover over the aquatic weapon slot? I know aquatic combat wasn’t available, but I’m curious to know as to what the aquatic weapon/weapons will be.

There were no weapons in the aquatic weapon slot.

I did notice that, which didn’t help much from the videos I saw. I was just wondering if anybody had hovered their mouse over the weapon slot to see what should go there.

I never saw anyone hover over it, but the shots I saw of the hero panel showed it “blocked out” by a watery blue effect, so I imagine you probably wouldn’t have been able to get any info from hovering over it at all.

Nothing shows up when you hover over the slot. Only water weapon I got as a drop was a trident, and I wasn’t able to equip that.

The devs have really gotten a hang of how players think. I don’t think there is any way to determine what underwater weapon Revenants can use other than possibly going through the files manually. But I doubt our friend That_Shaman would have missed that.

On the same note, I got a sword and staff as well which were datamined as Revenant weapons. Couldn’t equip either of those.

Ladies and gentelmens. Underwater weapon for Revenant is:

Spear. Thats right, a spear.

Well since blind people have a way of getting lost at sea…
No swimming for you. On a different note Anet avoid any and all conversations, having to do with lakes, rivers and oceans and finally under water combat, You won’t need them. All we’ve seen since adding maps to the wastes, are ponds and creeks, something only duck look forward to. I know it doesn’t prove there will be no lakes and rivers in the jungle but from what we’ve seen so far. Come on Anet stop the water embargo and come talk to us. You know, the ones who will buy your expansion.
