Guild Wars 2

So, been jumping about a few different threads and from what people say the Revenant needs a little more to make it complete (after all each legend only grands 3 utlities with no choice, unlike the 4 of other classes). I’m not sure if it can be implemented at this point, but a few people said it could do with another Legend, and some said that a Charr themed legend would be nice.

Here’s a quick idea;

Gaheron Baelfire / Bonfaaz Burntfur / Hierophant Burntsoul (Flame Legion themed Legend)

Healing: Cauterize – Heal yourself, remove chilled, poison, torment and confuse.
Utility 1: Molten Strike – create a small volcano that periodically fires lava at foes, burning and crippling them
Utility 2: Effigy – Summon an Effigy that fights for you
Utility 3: Claw of the Kahn-Ur – Summon a giant claw that swipes enemies in a cone and knocks them back
Elite: The Searing – Summon the searing, dropping flames upon your foes, burning, crippling and blinding them

Like I said, no idea if the option of adding more Legends is entirely an option right now, and this idea probably has a 1 in 10,000 chance of working. But Just putting it here for good measure, while the Devs are keeping their eyes on this thread.

I would LOVE another Legend; I agree that two seems a bit off. A Charr themed one would be great… but, currently, the available Legends are men. I actually really like your suggestions for abilities, and if there’s a woman who would be appropriate for a Legend, that would be even more awesome. I’m trying to figure out how Kalla Scorchrazor might fit here. It might need to be a different flavor of abilities, but I’ve always adored her story, and I would love to see her as one of the Legends.

Has been allready datamined that the remaining legend will be glint (rytlock using, skill icons datamined with blue dragon icon and what appears to be signets and a glint themed shield)

Well there go my hopes of it being a Gaki.

I think we all know by now that the Revenant will most likely get a Glint legend for its elite specialization. But I would also love to see another legend added to the base class, although that’s not going to happen.
I actually like the Idea of a flame legion legend, but I also noticed the lack of female legend with 4 males vs Glint.

I just hope Glint brings a condi/hybrid midrange weapon, like the shortbow(or whatever spin they want to add to something), to round out Revs now having access to weapon swap.

There’s actually a data-mined shield skin which is essentially a crystal dragon wing, plus there are two data-mined shield skills. The elementalist sword warhorn debate proved that data-mined skills don’t mean anything, but a fully developed shield skin seems pretty obvious to me.

Since legends are kinda sorta but not completely tied to specializations and weapon sets, and since we have all core specializations and core weapon sets, we know there won’t be another core legend. As others have said, it is likely that Glint will be the elite specialization’s legend.

I would kill for a Flame Legion themed legend that will allow me to call in the searing as an elite skill!

from what ive seen in the cinematic, it appears to be that what Rytlock used was glint elite (since everything else are apparently signets according to the datamining) wich seemed to be a direct spike dmg oriented skill, the only thing revenants elite havent done yet cuase they have done everything else; shiro: aoe stun, mallyx: stat increase condi transfer, Ventari: heal and knockback, Jalis: dmg reduction

I think channeling kormir would be cool, though i’m not sure how it’d work.
