How would people feel if a future expansion would give Scarlett as a Legend to evoke?
I’d love to a Scarlett Spec that would introduce “Minions” as utilities for the Revenant, giving us access to many of her Clockwork monstrosities.

Perhaps the weapon could be the rifle?

These are “legends” we’re talking about here. Not people that died within a year’s span.
Compared to the legends already part of the Rev, Scarlett has left little to no impact on history. She also has no nostalgic value, something the Rev was marketed for.

Furthermore, she’s just annoying as hell…

It could be a good idea.
But I don’t think Scarlet could be a legend, in fact it’s only a minion of mordremoth. I’m not sure she can even go to the mist.
What happens to sylvari when they die since they are dragon minions.

That’s a good point about sylvari.
I’ll admit, mechanically it could work. Realistically though, think about what you’re suggesting. She’s basically a nobody.

Plus, I’d want to shift from Warrior to Rev to get away from guns, this would just be a major turnoff. Aside from the fact it’s freaking Scarlett…

Not sure about as a specialisation, the non-specialist Revenant still is not really complete at this point (no-underwater skills yet AFAIK), but perhaps something along those lines one of the Standard Forms (as opposed to Elite Specialisation – unless it came with one of the Elite Specialisations).

IF it were part of an Elite Specialisation for the Revenant, not sure what you would call the specialisation.

I’m getting awfully tired of scarlet. They litterally rewrote lore for her and every chance they get they have to push her existance into our nose. I was quite happy when she was dead but even then we can’t get away from her.

I don’t think that we should get her as a legend (don’t get me wrong), but she definitely has had an impact on history… I mean, she kind of prematurely woke up Mordremoth…

As bad as it sounds,I think Trahearne is more likely to become a legend than Scarlet.

Someone beat me to the awful idea that would be Trahearne… but there’s still Kormir!

We need a Scarlet Spec like a Shark needs more teeth.

Also, if they did and I had to listen to her voice in my head I’d probably shoot myself.

It’s hard enough hearing her in the Reactor fractal. I still want to stuff a sock in her mouth. EVERY TIME.

Being legendary has nothing to do with how much time you had but what you accomplished with it.

In terms of global impact, Scarlett is one of the most legendary characters in the history of Tyria.

Serious answer though, considering she was working for Mordremoth and that’s who we are up against it wouldn’t fit even thematically.

There is that off side angle of Holomancy, whose knowledge is unique to her. But its arguable if its a valid type of skill, and not just an application of technology that anyone could use.

Mallyx was more than just a minion. He actually sought to take Abaddon’s place and take not only Abaddon’s thrown, so to speak, but all the gods. He did this of his own accord.

Scarlet just went crazy and got used.

Shiro, well. . . Shiro’s death spawned the Jade Wind, which froze Cantha. That, in so far as I can remember was not Abaddon’s magic. Although he was twisted by Abaddon.

And come, Shiro is one bad kitten mother lover.

Hey, maybe we can have unnamed centaur 1479, slain in the human tutorial, Revenant specialization too.

Of course I want a Scarlet legend.
Abilities like:

- You can`t touch me till the plot says so

- I am smarter than everyone on the continent of tyria

- Plotarmor

and of course the elite:

- Giant Light Construct while I am safe in the back… if defeated there is a feedback that gets one into downstate…

She wasn’t a good character, that’s the nicest way I can put it, I’d hate to see every Revenant I meet channeling her power and reminding me of the one thing that got me to quit GW2 first time around.

Scarlet is hands down the worst major character in Guild Wars series. Why the kitten would she ever be a legend.

If we look at it this way, wasn’t the angry asian dude with swords just a minion of Abaddon?

In Lore, Shiro was legendary before his first death, before he was influenced by Abaddon even.

But look at the legends. They’re all figures GW1 vets know well. Revenants are through and through an attempt to cater to all those vets saying that GW1 has next to no connection to the first game beyond series title.

Using the power of the mists, the Revenant can now channel the legend, Scarlet.
Channeling Scarlet gives the player distinct shout and engineering abilities.

“Die, die, die, die, die, die, die!”
Scarlet yells and takes out her frustration on nearby foes, by calling for back-up. Aetherblade ships appear overhead and unleash a red particle cannon on each player within 1200 range.

“Sorry about all the death!”
Scarlet shouts and gains regeneration, protection, vigor, stability, and fury for each downed or dead creature or player nearby.

“Tyria needs me!”
Scarlet recovers from all damage. Scarlet recovers from and becomes immune to all disabling abilities for 1 minute.

Marionette Mayhem
Scarlet summons the Marionette’s foot to stomp the ground and create an earthquake.

Rocket Barrage
Scarlet gains a super badkitten rocket launcher tool kit to torture her enemies.

Invasion
Scarlet calls upon her creations to overwhelm the enemy and drastically lower enemy player fps.

Sounds like fun, right?

I would love a Scarlet Specialization for the revenant.

This would be wonderful.
I loved Scarlet, and I miss her.
This would be a way to bring her back for me.

I don’t think it would be a bad idea in itself. Scarlet had a really personnal fighting style that could be made into a specialization.

However, I think the Scarlet’s charracter in itself lack in regard of own ambition. For me her contact with mordremoth totally destroyed her own self leaving only the hollow will of the dragon to be awaken (or is it driven by the hunger of a starving dragon?). There is a twisted side in her that seem to appear from time to time in it’s diary and this twisted side just don’t match the deep will (due to greed or sense of duty) that need a revenant’s legend.

That said, I believe that Taïmi, which is a Scarlet con, is more than able to revive and adapt the scarlet’s skills to fit an Engi elite specialization. It could give a pretty interesting taste of mesmer via the use of holograms.

What absolute bunkum! It’s a story! Any time they like they can make some kitten up!

I’d channel the legend of Meerak the Shouter before I’d touch anything to do with Scarlet.
