For some reason working with the mists just screams White to me.

It’s likely to be multiple colours, because of the legends. Elementalists have different skill colours according to which element they are attuned to, after all. The Mallyx legend could easily be purple, because Mallyx was a margonite. King Jalis could maybe be blue, because of how the legend is being described as more tanky.

My guess would be the same color of blue Rituatlists had in the original GW.

Revenants crossed the colorless deep fog and came back to tell the story. It’s like an army of Vallarfaxes of the Twin Fangs (guess the fangs wouldn’t be “twins” then…)

Their abilities look ghostly, misty, and gray, but based on the profession art on the website, which is done in the style of the other color-coded profession artworks, I’m going to go with Red.

There wasn’t much black in the ritualist except in the skill icons.

We see a few revenant skills in action during the HoT teaser. Weapon attacks appear to have a distinctive misty white trail, while Rytlock’s summoning of a draconic legend (presumed to be Glint) is ritualist teal. Half of the professions in GW2 have their profession colour among their effect colours (mesmer purple, necromancer eerie green, ranger yellow-green, guardian blue) and of those that don’t, the warrior, engineer, and elementalist tend to have effects according to what they’re physically doing rather than having a particular effect colour that is associated with their profession. (Although elementalists kinda do, with their arcane skills typically being yellow/greenish similar to the spirit animals that appear on certain ranger attacks.)

The only real exception, then, is thieves, whose abilities are typically indigo or black, but whose colour in the PvP profession wheel is a deep red-orange.

Either way, my money would be on the revenant being ritualist teal, similar to the guardian being monk blue.

They all share similar color schemes, and I believe that the Revenant will be resembling the Ritualists, since the Revenant is essentially an evolution of that class.

The light cyan blue is already taken by the guardian, so I doubt that’ll be the revenant’s theme colour. The promo image does seem to promote the blood-red colour, but even that is mere speculation. Honestly, I have no idea what colour it’ll be, but it’ll be different from the 8 professions we already have. I’m kind of surprised no one is speculating on its icon.

The icons tend to match the profession colour and red has already been taken by the elementalist (ironically the elementalist is the exception here, as the elementalist skill icon colours depend on the elemental attunement)

Cyan is still available and like as others have said the GW Ritualist was Cyan so it kinda matches but of course it could be a brighter or darker red.

I agree with Shifu, they already released the concept art with this in mind.

I’d imagine that it will follow the concept art. That would mean that they have a ruby or blood like colour.

thief skill icons are always black and white with some red, just like the attacks. not sure why our PvP color is red-orange though. i mean, black would’ve been ugly, but…

Based on the trailer we saw I’m gonna say “misty.” That is it will be full of a white mist effect similar to mist form.
