Revenant armor is heavy and can be worn by any heavy class. (Just like rangers can wear thief hoods and warriors can wear guardian shoulders and my Mesmer could wear an elementalists flame head piece).

I would imagine, but I don’t think a definitive yes or no has been given.
They’ve never made profession specific armour before (even the starter pieces can be worn by any profession that uses that armour weight) and they’ve not said anything about adding it so I assume it will be useable by all heavy armour wearers.

That would suck as the armor doesn’t look all that great to be classed as “Legendary”, rather the armor seen in the beta weekends is probably the “Starter” armor for that class, just as every other class has “unique” starter armor options when you first create the character (usually only the headpiece) but this time probably full set of “unique” starter armor if you get what I mean.

Hard to say. Every profession has a max level appearance in the character select screen with profession themed armor, but doesn’t get the whole look when they start. They get one piece, but then they have to get the rest of it elsewhere. My guess is there will be the 3 headpieces and the rest will be from somewhere else.
Maybe a vendor in a new map will sell it. That would restrict purchase to only HoT owners. That might be part of the mastery line where you get high enough to buy from the local vendors.

From what the BWEs had, we’ll likely get to choose from 3 different head bands then have to wear plebeian armor until we can “find” the Mistward armor either through Masteries or some other mechanic.

I was wrong – I saw in another thread a DEV confirm that the Mistward armor will be unlocked through the collectibles mechanic – I agree that the headpiece / band will be available just as with other professions.
