Due to yesterday’s Livestream i understand that the new borderlands will be realesed at the same time as the expension and every 1 would be able to play it regardless if they bought the expension or not.

What if we could pre-purches HoT 2 months before realese and who ever pre purchesed it would have accses to the Revenant in that moment (if they ask for refund or something like that after they making the Revenant, it should be blocked until full paymnet again).

This is something very cool i think they can do for:
1. Really hyped players
2. Decrease the amount of revenants that will be on new maguma zones
(alot will insta 80)
3. Will help fix bugs with the class in those 2 month window. so they will have more time focusing on the new zone’s bugs on realese day
(i dont mean it as something bad, there are ALWEYS “issues” with new staff)

Or they could have enough time to finish the revenant, as it is by no means finished yet. I know you want it early, but you’ll just have to wait.

How about no?

1. They will be getting the expansion anyways and will have access to everything, when it comes out, just like everyone else.
2. This will still happen, if it happens at all
3. They are going to have tons of testing, and probably more than one closed beta before they even do open betas.

Its almost certain that will not happen. The class isn’t fully finished yet. The balance issues will not be fixed if the class was to be released now since a lot of players would flock to it and we wouldn’t be able to efficiently compare due to class having some new things current professions get with specialisations. If it was released too early it would be at the top of the food chain which would require balance to be on par with some of the current classes. Than once the specialisations arive it would lack because most other classes would go up which would require another balance.

I know people are eager to play but ideas like this are silly.

I would be up for it. But its not gonna happen.

Let’s not Revenant before the Revevant is Revening because it’ll be more fun Revening the Revenant together.

Has any game ever released parts of its expansion before the rest of it? How would they charge you for it? The whole price even though you’re only getting a fraction if it?
