Just OP as all hell at the current state XD

- That being said though, I hate the hammer skill 3, it feels buggy when using it on terrain lower than you. In my opinion it should be a targeted leap and you can teleport back if you activate it again in 1-2 seconds.

+ I like the concept for some of the traits, some of them were a bit uninspired.

- The ‘dark’ form of the Revenant is asking to be abused by Sigils.

- 1 second cooldown when swapping stances.

+ Utilities swap when you swap stances.

- Not sure how the elites and stances should affect your class. I know racial skills are trash (which, they shouldn’t be) but it’s just giving Norn forms the middle finger when Revenant elites are practically a must.

- My biggest issue is enemies are so slow, I got swarmed by a pack of tiny raptors and they just hit so slowly. Rarely I felt any threat.

BUY SIGILS OF GENEROSITY and SIGILS OF CLEANSING.

I think you forgot that sigils that proc on swap have an internal cooldown of 9 seconds. So spamming stance swap won’t do much for you.

Technically swapping stances in a revenant is no different than swapping attunements on an elementalist.

Please tell me its not true that they only have 3 trait lines which focus on Condi and no power trait line.

There’s bound to be a power trait line with condition duration, melee staff and Shiro will come as well. Stop worrying about it, it seems more combo based then 1 big burst, there is not only power and conditions in game.

The revenant isn’t finished yet. Right now we only had 3 trait lines 2 of which only gave us extra stats in just 1 attribute. Calm down. This is clearly not how the Rev is gonna be when HoT launches.

I think this will be a good class but there are problems with it being too op especially out in WvW. It will be to have a line of Revs in front splitting the middle of a zerg to soften them up for your back line to come up and finish them. I can hear the cries of unfair play even though everyone is getting them.

Even though Revenant is like 25% complete class, I can already see it being a much stronger condition master than necromancer XD. Also the extra leap/ shadowstep/ displacement/ invulnerable and 2 heals help alot too.

Only one of the lines focuses specifically on condi. One is more supportive and tanky and thats the dwarf line. The invocation line is more of the classes mechanic line from what I understand. Sorta how illusions is for mesmers or deathshroud for necro.

The finished product tough will be 6 trait lines obv. 1 extra for the specialization.

How did you manage to have a thread in which you say revenant is boring..
Then, on the same day
Come out with a thread about how you think revs are OP…

Did you really?!

Its an educated guess. Every class now has 5 trait lines normally, I assume the same for the revenant. Plus every class will get one specialization that includes a new traitline in the expansion, so thats why I say 6. The thing about specialization is I think unlocking it actually restricts your other professions mechanic trait line. Im pretty sure Ive heard this in an early interview but I can’t remember where.

So that’s not 6 trait lines but 5, though 1 of the 5 being different when you choose to specialize, which is, at this point, merely speculation. We don’t really know how the specializations will work.

No. Its still 6 trait lines. Its either going to be 6 trait lines at once or 6 trait lines with one restricted. They said in an interview were getting a new trait line or something like that.

They already detailed that we get a new et of utilies, heal, elite, new traits, a new profession mechanic, and a weapon we previous didn’t have.

Technically they are different because swapping attunements out of combat still results in a normal cooldown.

Yes, they are different, but the major thing is that people often forget to read the rules:

“Your next attack after swapping to this weapon while in combat steals some health.”

Every weapon swap sigil has this rule AND the cooldown.

Samuel Hart – lvl 80 Necro and 20 more toons… well. Yeah.

Every weapon swap sigil has this rule AND the cooldown.

Two things:

1) Sigil of renewal is a weapon swap sigil that has only the cooldown.

2) You can spam no-cooldown skills while out of combat and swap legends to recover your energy. That’s not possible with an elementalist.

Happens every game for about a month or so. Ever play lol that’s how they advertized new heroes When wotlk came out in wow do you have any idea how op the death knight originally was, was literally a god mode in pvp for a month or so. Let people enjoy it and after a few weeks it will get nerfed somewhere, its impossible to “balance” before its released at best they can guess.
