Hi everyone,

First time post here. Quick question for you all about the revenant in the new beta test. I’ve already purchased the charr tier 3 cultural armour on my regular account. After making a charr revenant on for the beta today, I noticed that the charr cultural armour sets don’t appear in my character wardrobe. It’s like the game is treating the revenant as a separate race.

Is anyone else noticing this on other classes? I’m not sure if its intentional, but it definitely surprised me.

Just tested this on my sylvari revenant. I can see and I can use the cultural armor for sylvari in the wardrobe.

Are you sure that you have the heavy T3 skin?

I double checked and I did buy the Dreadnought armour on a warrior before looking at it on a revenant. Must just be my account then. Thanks for the help!

Did you purchase the armor before or after you created your Revenant?

The beta copies your main account at a specific point (most people assume its when your first beta character gets created, though I don’t know that its ever been confirmed if that’s the exact point or not). Any changes to your main account after the point where the “copy” is made won’t have any effect on the beta version of your account.

You should be able to go and buy the T3 armor now on your beta account without losing money on your main account, though. Unless you just don’t have enough gold.

I put Sylvari cultural armor on my Revenant. Try typing the armor’s name in search at the top of the wardrobe to make sure you’re not overlooking it.

Mine did get copied when the Beta slots were created. So if they gave the OP the beta slots on Monday, he bought the armour on a non-beta character on tuesday and then tried it on a beta character on wednesday, the armour won’t be there.

However, since the beta characters have a clone of your account, you can just buy them again because you have the money in the beta slot (if the beta slot don’t have the armour, you still have in the beta the money you used to buy the armour :P)

The account may well be copied at character creation, not when they gave us the beta slots days ago. I stuck a lot of ascended gear and other items in the bank about 14 hours before the beta started. When my beta char went to the bank it was all in there.
