I understand you have to sell the expansion but this is just downright despicable and unfair. What about the other professions? Why?

Despicable? Most of the elite specs have cool new effects and skins as well.

There was always more than enough flash and visual clutter in the core game anyway. Personally, I’d prefer to have the facets turned off. The light, airy colours don’t fit my grim, battle-hardened Herald at all.

Except for the Tempest Loop, the North Wind and my Chronomancer Epaulets with tiny glowing bits, what “cool new effects” are there for the other elite specs? Cool skins? A stick with two ribbons and a worn rag for the thieves? I don’t even play thief but that’s just insulting.
They visually nerfed mesmer’s wells, ele’s fireball is now a fire spit, while facet of chaos still shine brighter than welding torch. And you tell me this is fair?

It goes great with the Revenants exclusive armor set…

Why do the other classes not have an exclusive armor set?

Too bad warriors and guardians can wear it aka fake revs that failed at the profession yet want to look cool /shrug

Im up for adding exclusive set for each class tho, but they all should be locked just for that x class

You can use those gears on any Heavy class. Just leveled Revenant level 80 and maxed Herald spesiality. I didnt like Revenant. Dragon Hunter with traps is most fun and easy.

Herald mode makes annoyn voices.

I like logging in after 3 years and still seeing my armor clip and oversized head items on my Charr Engineer… I had the luxury of choosing both the worst race and worst class in terms of gear aesthetics.

Regarding the spell animations don’t even get me started about how Anet gave Engineer the finger… our “Orbital Strike” looks like a sliver of sunlight shining through a window pane… its pathetic. Lets also mention how pets in this game are worthless now because you can’t even have them out in the HoT maps because they get too populated and your pets then become “disabled.”

Guys, stop arguing.
Ranger got 2 of the most ugly E-spec related stuff.

Well, I purposely make my Warrior more: “Steel-and-sword” type of heavy browser, my guardian “Holy-knight” type, and my Rev “magical/ energy” (like choosing something that glows/ emit energy) type of character.

So to me all of them look pretty different
