Riddle room story quest
If you mean in the final LS instance, the pattern is to figure out the riddle and go to the item that matches it. Two moves and you’re into the final chamber. I had to think a bit on the first one (helped that it was essentially multiple choice, all the objects showed up with helpful yellow labels so I looked for one that fit the inside-outside thing) and on the second one had to remind myself who had asked the question and pick -his- most likely answer.

Yep thats what my guildie told metoo. What made me so confused was that when I picked sunflower ( i think) at some point it let me through anyways, which didnt make any sense to me

Not necessarily, I had different answers, which leads me to believe that the questions are randomized.

I got Chicken; Centaur, they’re really primitive riddles, really

I think the answer varies between races. With humans, the answer is always Chicken and Centaur.

My Human got the Corn and Charr questions so I’d say it’s just randomised.
Hmm, both times I’ve been in there I got Corn/Charr. First time on human male, second time as a guest in the instance; I was female sylvari but the host was human female.

My human female got corn, charr each time I took her through.

maybe there are random sets, like the first one is random, but the second one is based on the first one, so it would always be charr second if the first was corn, centaur second if the chicken was first

It doesn’t vary between races; I took my charr through twice and did one the first time and the other the second time. First riddle just has two answers – this threw me off my first playthrough because I was just going “there’s two answers which is the right one!?”
There’s four rooms in total, so there are two paths to Caudecus’ room, as it turns out.
You can go Chicken -> Centaur or Corn -> Charr
First riddle is an actual riddle. Second “riddle” is just a racist jab.
Stop treating GW2 as a single story. Each Season and expansion should be their own story.
I actually picked the wrong one because I figured that those kinds of codes aren’t meant to keep stupid people out, but are to keep everyone without the code out, so it would make the most sense that the “correct” answer would be something that makes no sense at all.
Second “riddle” is just a racist jab.
After getting aroused by his own face, he walks out laughing every time.
I’m just gonna come here to say….the ‘chicken’ and ‘corn’ riddles are the same one. It just has two different answers.
The inside / outside – corn or chicken suffice as an answer
Cat’s head and cat’s feet is Charr
Half as smart, twice as strong is Centaur.
Those are the only 3 Ive seen between my two runs.
The first room, the riddle is the same for everyone, there are just two possible answers. If you answer Corn you go to the room where the answer is Charr. If you answer Chicken you go to the room where the answer is Centaur. It’s not a big puzzle really, it is 4 rooms in a diamond formation so the first room leads to the two side rooms and those two rooms lead to the bottom room. The floor spins to disorient you and make you think there are more rooms than there really are.
I just wonder if Ceiling Cat is still hiding in one of the fake rooms that mobs come out of.
