I just noticed there are no elite specialisations involving Rifles or Short Bows? Is it intentional? Or did they simply just ignored these weapon types?

There are only 9 elite specs but 17 weapons (I believe? Maybe one or two off) in the game. So there are definitely going to be some weapons that aren’t used for one, at least while we’re sitting at the current number of specs. Its not just rifle and shortbow.

Once we get more elite specs, like 3 per profession or something, if there still isn’t anything related to certain weapons, THEN its something to worry about.

might be worth adding that these are the least widely distributed weapons in game – only 2 classes can use either.

but if you added them in the expansion then … more classes could use them, rather than 2 or 3 classes getting staff.

And ranger being nerfed to a #$%^ing cleric…

i do hope the underused weapons like shortbow, rifle and pistlols do get some more love with the nex elite spec’s…
