Sorry, but my googlekittenis just not strong enough to find this information out. Every time he speaks, it sounds seriously familiar, but I can’t place it to save my life. Spoken with a couple of other people, and they feel the same. Anyone know?

Is that the one with the voice of Lord Faren? I get all the exalted mixed up. There are very limited number of voices used throughout the game though, I’d guesstimate like 10 people do the overwhelming majority.

I’m certain Lord Faren is voiced by Yuri Lowenthal (who voiced the Prince from Prince of Persia: Sands of Time).

Ruka is voiced by Steve Blum and I know that because Ruka’s voice sounds exactly like Ensign Wilton (spelling?), one of the NPCs you have to speak to just before you start the third story mission. Also, once you’ve heard Steve Blum’s voice, it’s hard to “unhear” it—at least for me.

Actually I believe it to be John Dimaggio (Canach and many other random NPCs, Jake the dog, Bender.) I could be wrong but I cant unhear him.

It kinda reminds me of James Spaders voice work in Age of Ultron.

Thanks for taking the time to post the info here, Scott! Much appreciated; I too was wondering who was voicing Ruka.

It sounds to me that some of the male Mordrem Guard enemies are actually voiced by DiMaggio, so Canach isn’t his only role; his deep voice suits them well even if the voice has been edited a bit. As for other VAs playing multiple roles, you can also hear e.g. Braham’s voice actor voicing Evon Gnashblade and some of the male nuhoch NPCs, and Taimi’s VA Debi Derryberry voicing Belinda Delacqua and Duchess Chrysanthea among others.

If you search guild wars 2 on imdb there is a big list of voice actors.. Not sure how outdated it is as I couldn’t find anything for Ruka but it is nice to see the faces of those behind the voices that we all love.

Steve Blum is the voice or Rytlock Brimstone, don’t know about the others you mentioned.

Good guess (GW2 would be a very different game with Trey in the mix, wouldn’t it?), but Laranthir is voiced by the one and only Crispin Freeman.
