How do you keep your rife from overheating? AND is there an actual real GUIDE somewhere? Most of the youtube videos just post a successful run and the famous video skips over a minute of content. Would love to see a guide or video where they exactly explain what to do.

Your rifle heats up every time you use it and slowly cools down when you don’t, so the goal is to kill as many using as few skills as possible.

So you want to use skills 2,3, and 4, as much as you can because they do more damage and have longer cooldowns, and not so much for skill 1; spend more time grouping them up instead of just firing on them. Also destroy the eggs first so you get more chak.

If you have adrenal mushrooms this becomes a bit easier.

Standing near the chak egg things regens health and cools your rifle as well I believe. But it is difficult. I find myself running out of Chak before the time runs out to get Gold before the actual gun overheats.

One thing I think makes a big difference is rounding them up and using the terrain to make them all run a certain path, then lay down the flamewall before they come after you. Then use the flamethrower I guess. I don’t know. I don’t seem to do too much damage. Make sure you use the leap skill twice if you see a big blob of them and don’t want to spend time rounding them up. Just leap 3, then press it again to leap back out for 2x damage.

I’ve yet to get gold in it but with the time I spent on haywire punchomatic I couldn’t be bothered to do it too much.
