I was wondering if I should level scribing but I wonder a bit how much it really cost to level it. Is it similar to other profession or it costs a ton of gold?

Meaning, should a guild focus on leveling 1-2 scribe or can everyone in the guild start a scribe since it’s the new cool thing?

It is definitely a group effort. My guild just unlocked the guild decoration vendor today, which is necessary for getting anywhere with scribe, and doing so cost over 100g and lots of farming. Making even the first chair scribes can make after unlocking that vendor costs over 12g in materials. Unless your whole guild is crazy rich you’ll only have a few scribes.
