I have been starting to look for the recipe of the Azimuth staff ([&AgHsHgEA]).

These are my current ideas which I have been unable to test so far because I lack the Gift of Light.

X Mystic Coins
250 Auric Ingots
250 Ancient Staff Shafts
Gift of Light

X Mystic Coins
25 Exalted Staff Cores
250 Ancient Staff Shafts
Gift of Light

X Mystic Coins
25 Exalted Staff Cores
Eldritch Scroll / Bloodstone Shard

If you got any additional ideas which are worth testing please post them here.

Awesome skin. Must get. Maybe gemstore? But, looks like Tarir inspired.

It is an exotic, so it is unlikely to be a gemstore skin. If it would be a drop chances are people would have found it now due to the sheer masses of players.

Am I the only one trying to find the recipe?

Doubtful you’re the only one. I think people are just burned out on bleeding themselves dry trying to figure out these forge recipes. Maybe someone with a gift of light will come along and test this out for us.

This sounds unlikely considering the staff has berserker stats and no other mystic forge exotic requires any inscription.

It’s not on the trading post when you de-select available items only.. does that mean it would be account bound on acquire?

I was guessing it might be more like Infinite Light, perhaps with 250x Orichalcum Staff heads instead? Or throwing in some sun beads?

Or even more likely, using the Exalted Staff Core from the Auric Staff recipe: https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Exalted_Staff_Core
and/or the Oiled Ancient Staff Head/Shaft?

Why a recipe ? Why this staff would be the only weapon in HoT that you can get from a recipe ?

This is probably a very rare drop from one of the 3 champions protecting the noxus pods at the end of DS meta event (maybe the emperor mushroom ?)

Since the expansion is out, how many times did the emperor mushroom got killed ?

Those 3 champions are literally never killed, everyone is ignoring them

Items only appear on trading post as soon as it has been offered for sale at least once, so that is why you did not find it there.

Everything in HoT except maybe the Chak Gerent gets done regulary. You understimate the amount of people spread across different maps. The sheer amount of players dictates that it would have dropped at least once, even if it had a precursor like dropchance from a specific champion.

If its not on the trading post, it doesnt mean that its not tradeable.
I think it only shows up, once someone crafts or obtains it.
The info on the wiki and skin probably comes from the wardrobe or datamining.

And good luck crafting orichalcum staff heads.
The staff heads i used to craft are made out of wood, not ore.

Nope, I’m trying to get this staff too.

I want it too, but have no leads.

Auric ingots don’t show up in the forge window. I haven’t tried staff cores yet.
