So far Anet has officially announced three legends which the new Revenant Profession will be able to channel. Ventari… King Jalis Ironhammer… and Mallyx the Unyielding…

….but all of these legend candidates pale in comparison to the most important legend of all…

What better way to bring in the new Heart of Thorn expansion than with a supreme bodyguard/assassin straight from The Mists.

• Mordrem infesting the Maguuma Jungle, you say?
  WHAT JUNGLE?
  Shiro can turn all those pesky plants into nice harmless statues standing in a parking lot… Faster than you can say House Zu Heltzer!

• There’s something in the water?
  WELL, IT CAN STAY THERE!
  Shiro promises to turn all bodies of water into solid jade, encasing all the aquatic fauna inside of it forever and ever. Nobody liked underwater combat, anyway!

• …Plagued by Goth people and Hippies?
  YOU DON’T KNOW THE MEANING OF PLAGUE
  Shiro will just make them fight eachother!

What are the ODDS that you could find a more important legend for Revenant?

It says right at the top of the post that its not confirmed, because the guy is really stretching.
The only thing the guy found was the text ShiroSymbol which many believe is this ascended trinket .
He also linked a model of a jade shard trying to insinuate that it was associated with the aforementioned…. when players know full well that they can see that in game, right now, in the Solid Ocean Fractal when they throw a reflecting crystal at the boss.

Bruh, they need a character as bad asz as Shiro in this game.

Shiro would probably wipe the floor with every member of the GW2 character cast.

The look in his eyes is one of Focus, conviction and strength.

I can tell just by looking at him that everyone else is his kitten.

Edit: Actually is it just me or are the character designs from GW1 far superior to the ones we have in GW2? O_o

Great post for a great character. Although his banish skill was super frustrating.

And no the GW2 designs are safer now, but everything in GW2 is spectacular looking.

There are small designs like the human cultural chest piece with the wolf or the gas mask skin that show just what they can do.

They’ve dumbed down some designs on purpose it seems.

Shiro and Abbadon to me anyway are still two of the BEST boss fights in Guild wars, Followed by Urgoz, kanaxai and Iron Forgemaster.

In GW2 it’s probably just been the sorrows embrace dungeon boss and the Giganticus Lupicus. Mostly for the fact the main ones are mostly just Dragons, and no matter how cool your dragon looks, it’s still another dragon. It’s going to get to a point in the game where we’re going to just spray a can of Dragon Raid on them and watch them shrivel up and wither away haha.

Maybe if the dragons talked or something and gave more insight to the history of the world then just “I’m big dragon, i eat magics” then that be cool.

So yes, I vote for Shiro 2015 and vote for Shiro as best dragon boss .

Although I’m not really an absolute fan of Shiro (not saying I don’t like him either, I’m just neutral on Shiro – I preferred the Margonites and Abaddon more), what I did like was how super evil he was in GW1, and I REALLY like how Anet are bringing aspects of GW1 back (tormented weapons, chaos weapons, legends, monks outfit, et cetera). I wonder if we’ll get some sort of Shiro Armor skin set? That would be cool.

Shiro was a good concept, and an enjoyable fight, but otherwise seemed terrible in execution.
Then again, the story of Factions was kind of lacking in general in my eyes.

Terrible in execution my kitten <.< his quotes were cheesy as hell, though.

You people don’t know nothing if you think the biggest boss in Guild Wars 1 was Shiro or Urgoz or any of the others. I tell you who the biggest, baddest boss was

Old Shiro. He wasn’t a patch on Kormir. She wupped you good and made off with the prize.

After this beta, its apparent now more than ever that Revenants need a hero….

or should I say…. a Shiro in their lives.

That would be an awesome skill for Revenant. It might even be a selling point.
Of course, my favorite classes are the ones that have the skills I hate the most when they are used on me. Shiro’s Banish is definitely in the top 5.

I’m definitely on board for Shiro to be one of the Revenant Legends.

You can stack swiftness by using king jalis #7 + blasting with mace #3 without even slowing down.

…but i would hope that the shiro legend has swiftness also.

Dont forget that Glint will be the elite spec

I’d still be waiting for Glint legend with MAIN HAND SHIELD (yeah, I know it will just be offhand ;_;)

Shiro and Glint can’t fit Centaur and Dwarf legend.
