So i only have money for one and i’m pretty sure fo4’s gonna be awesome, so i want to know how good hot is, does it have enough features to be worth purchasing over fo4?

You are really comparing apples to oranges. Personally I’m going FO4.

I am having fun with the expansion …. BUT I cannot tell you that you will, you may not. I did buy the Ultimate version of the expansion and have no regrets at all. Only you can decide to spend more money on this game or not.

Seeing as the biggest complaints have been stretching the little content in the game into a grind, then I’d say Fallout 4 will have more content based on FO3.

HoT will rock….in like 3-5 weeks.

If you care about the living story, keep in mind that you won’t be able to unlock it for free without HoT. If you wait too long (like a year+), you might as well wait for the next expansion instead. If you have no problems with exchanging gold however, then it really doesn’t matter.

To get the most value in the shortest time, definitely FO4. I’d personally prefer to wait for the GOTY edition however since I don’t like content expansion months after I already finished playing, plus Bethesda is known for bugs.

I’m going for fallout 4, As I can play Bethesda games for months on end, whereas you’ll be lucky to get three weeks of actual new content out of HoT (although by the sounds of things there is months of grind in HoT).

FO4, no regrets. Don’t look back.

If you want to max every SPECIAL, sure. But if you play Bethesda games the way they’re intended, where you concentrate on the world and don’t over-think the leveling, you don’t really notice it. Also the way the Bethesda games tend to scale, level differences aren’t as big a deal, and equipment isn’t level locked so it’s not as big a deal.

IF you look at the response here, you actually don’t. While this is hardly a representative sample it seems like HoT has gone over like a lead balloon.

Unless you really really really like mmos, FO4 is almost guaranteed to be a higher quality game, though it is apples and oranges.

Who buys an MMO expansion on release?…seriously….why?Shinies?

I’d rather re-rock Skyrim while everyone tanties for the next month.
