Should stronghold be its own mode in PvP?

As topic states.
First some feedback: The Stronghold was pretty great, and while its not the ‘MOBA mode’ it was made out to be, it was definitely enjoyable: there was a complexity in making you sure you spawned enough doorbusters (and archers) while raiding the gates, and players had to alternate between defending their lord, fighting for hero spawns, or collecting supply.
But, I kinda doubt the thought Stronghold becoming ‘its own mode’. See, Stronghold is really just a more glorified version of The Legacy of the Foefire, the chief differences being that ( a) there’s more emphasis on killing the Lord ( b) killing the Lord drops more points and ( c) there’s more mechanics involved in the base raid, which isn’t optional (unlike Foefire)
In that sense, this doesn’t make Stronghold any more a unique PvP map than Skyhammer, Spirit Watch, Courtyard and of course, Foefire, each with its own mechanics. of course. And yes, while the first two are definitely Conquest examples, but, I think, Foefire could be readapted to a Stronghold map (albeit with some work) And courtyard, being a pure team deathmach map, I think, deserves its own queue (yes I do want to play this map with is its own queue)
So, should Stronghold be its own mode, with a separate queue? I think it would only make sense if there was another map added to its rotation (ike Foefire), or, if Courtyard got its own mod and separate queue line.

I would love to see mode filter in unranked. Problem is that they have only 1 deathmatch map, 1 stronghold and 1 capture the flag. Not enough for a separate queue.

Yeah i would like it to ahve its own queue, i really dont like conquest (to the point i dont play spvp currently, and if stronghold just get thrown in with it i likely wont after either. But darn i LOVE stronghold but i do NOT want to risk having to play 5-6 conquest per every one stronghold

a mode where you can cap a flag but you can also win without even touching a flag can’t be called CTF, it’s still a conquest with a flag side objective…
according to Stronghold, I think it could be good to add a game mode filter or even map filter, so everyone can check what he wants to play and what not… this way we would give a chance for people who don’t want to play some specific map/mode, but the queue time would increase only for them, not for everyone… if we would create a specific queue for each game mode, queue times would skyrocket up and to be honest, they aren’t very good even now and with HOT there will be a guild team queue, so queue times will go up even without a game mode specific queues…
let’s face it, GW2 doesn’t have enough PvP players for so many different queues while keeping a reasonably long wait times, that’s the fact…
