Shouldn't beta go til the 7th?

Since the term is beta weekend according to the government this is a three day weekend due to the fact Monday is Labor Day. So shouldn’t the testing be a day longer?
Labor Day is one country only. The weekend is still 2 days for the rest of the World.
And I suspect Anet are still hard at work on the Monday regardless
I am surprise it did not go till Monday noon like most things, but at least i have sunday off, so i get to play a bit then.
