maps are huge,urges and call you to explore,loads of treasures, rare spawns, and every nook and cranny is riddled with content and secretes and Awesome beautiful vistas why our planet earth is not like this?

Animation and creature team really well done,the nuhoc fatty’s lick their lips kitten that’s epic, awesome creature design all creatures have mechanics and fight each of em is a real learning experience, i yesterday practiced and mastered Bristle back fighting techniques and that too veterans.

please for gods sake don’t nerf enemies i say you can harden them up a bit more.

great decision that HP are not solo able, i made a couple of friends due to this, we voice chatted and hunted and explore together its so great to meet people from vast varieties of cultures, talk and get HP and killing mobs. man so many great people out there.

I always knew Anet is a bunch of creative minds who is daring and got back bones of steel and are willing to try new and creative things rather than going in the generic way.

I know you guys have been hit with many negative feed backs on GW 2 vanilla but i think there you did a massive epic job and showing the world there are still things which can be done differently with epic entertainment.

You can’t please everyone. forums are usually a bad metric for satisfaction on any product, as the majority will either enjoy using it simply not use it anymore.

I am agreeing with you and i have so far thoroughly enjoyed HoT a lot. And I havent even left Verdant Brink!
My only peeve is the shear amount of HP required for the new elite specs, but by playong and doing a dedicated HP chase i am at 75% for my chrono.

So, happy player here, and hope to enjoy the content for a long time.

This expansion has definitely made me leave my comfort zone. I tried playing thru VB with my thief in zerker gear. Died. Died. Died. Was quite frustrating. I’m going to have to get more appropriate armor, and change up my skill bar to add in some survival.

It’s definitely a learning curve, and maddening at times when I can’t find a path, but it’s huge and new and exciting.

As an added bonus, on more than one occasion I’ve expressed my exasperation in chat. Each time, folks have offered good tips and offered to help. Thanks to my fellow players for being such a great community!

By “desperation” I mean no offense, but more like the OP is now terribly afraid that the negative posts are so overwhelming that he/she feels that ANET will now have to do something to save the expansion. :-)

Here Here, I had so much fun this week-end and I can’t wait to get home and hopefully finish unlocking my daredevil dodges tonight. (I probably won’t finish the elite spec completely until next week-end) I’m only 130 hero points away now, with 40% old Tyria completed, so I have options.

I almost cried when that one member of Destiny’s Edge died. And I loved what they did with Faolin, so satisfying. Although a little confusing.

Great Work Devs, keep it up and please don’t forget to update base profession utilities and traits that are being underused. More diversity would be great. Otherwise, I’m having a blast.

I totally agree with OP! But don’t worry, whiners are gonna leave soon or get better at game. So it just needs time. Also they are only a minority of palyerbase, less than 1%, so their opinion doesn’t matter that much. Thou they may think they are special.
