I agree. Saying “we will be dropping info from now til release date” and not having even a speculative release date isn’t cool! LOL

I would have thought that with HoT being announced it was, while not polished perhaps just yet, darned close to being complete and thus close enough for a ballpark, like, say, Fall 2015 or so(with a disclaimer in big bold capital letters that its a guestimate lol)

So how much is this going to cost? Or are they still going by the “content is free” philosophy? I see the word expansion and I tend to think that payment is in order.

I’ll hit that pre-order button for sure.

Either way i hope you have to pay it for the expansion, the Guild Wars 2 team did really good work on the free content updates so i believe it would be better to pay the for expansion than make it free.

Yep. I’m betting they will do it like they did the GW 1 expansions. I’m fine with that.
I just really hope they will allow purchase of all completed LS episodes in mini packs for a nominal cost…maybe $15 or so? I missed all of season 1, and most of season 2, because I was on an extended break from MMOs. I like being able to purchase the episodes individually, with gems, but; it’d also be nice to have a bundle price, with an option of gems or cash.

It’s because I don’t see it costing more than the base game did, hence . . . $60.

I was expecting a free release. We’ll see what the feature patch in April brings to see if it’s warranted, though.

I second this! Would love to hear official stance on Tengu being playable.

They did say they had told us about every major feature in HoT. Playable Tengu would count as that. So I wager no new race, Tengu or otherwise.

That moment when Rytlock opens the door and reveals this GIGANTIC open area filled with lush jungle growth! I almost fell off my chair! Just… Amazing. I cannot wait to get there and explore every nook and cranny and tree top!

As someone who has a job and pays my own bills, I’ve never read anything in to the phrase “Shut up and take my money!” other than people expressing their excitement. Sure, there are people out there that go crazy at the drop of a hat, but there’s no need to insult people based on assumptions.

But seriously. I’m excited, and the guild halls make me really happy, too. I hope we have expansive guild battles soon along with them (and possibly moving all the stuff from our home instances there…..?). I was disappointed that there wasn’t a new race and a new class, but I am super happy about the new weapons, specialization, and new class as it is. This looks like it’ll be great- you guys have been listening to the community for a while, from miniature management to wardrobe, and it’s the way to go. All power to you.

I really need to know when this will be available on stores I gotta buy two for me and my brother
