Sign Cutting.

During the story you have to interact with Rox’s Trail aka STONES to progress further along the story. It pretty much stops working at the stone near the Hero Point that spawns the HUGE CHAMPION CHAK.

TLDR; Cannot finish Sign Cutting Story.

P.S. Tried Quitting This Chapter in hoping it will reset. NOPE. NOTHING.

Why did ANET try to set outside quest mission? It bugs out almost every time

ya, I tried that out too, but nothing.

I just got my itzel poison about 2 hours before the patch. I was pretty pumped in progressing further along the story…..until this. But oh well.

I have sam e issue in this quest. Pls fix it as possible as can.

At least I got a cool Chak Sword for my trouble.

Between waiting for tomorrow to do the story, or farming Masteries now and doing it today, I went for option two. …And still bugged.

Edit: reset the mission, left the zone, ported back in, and it worked.

Made it to the 5th marking this time! Any word on a fix?

I hope they fix this as soon as they can.

This one worked out for me. You really have to relogin and back for each Rox’s stone.

This is not a fix, merely a reset.

Stones still bugs 80% of the time.

relogging didn’t fix it :/

edit: after restarting chapter couple times it changed status saying i need to learn itzel poison lore before i can proceeed

3 days now and STILL BUGGED, at this rate i will finish the story on all 8 other alts before doing so on my main. WTH ANet pls adds a reset funtions to the journal or something if you cant fix it.

Confirmation of needing poison lore?

Specifically you need to start a different chapter to clear the data. Then immediately quit that chapter and go back to cutting signs.

Simply quitting the chapter and turning it on again it didn’t work as it would just pick up where I left off. I needed to start and quit a completely different chapter in order to get a fresh start. It worked after that.

Closing the game completely allowed me to find the last track. Now to find the team…

Thanks @Erylian! That helped. And it seems you do need poison lore for this one for some reason. At any rate my story is working again.

Still bugged. I’ve tried most if not all of the suggested fixes/work arounds. This is silly, ANet.

Edit: I found a screenshot tour. Managed to get to the end of this step. The ONLY place the hot/cold meter worked was on the very last marker. Stellar gameplay.
