Anyone open these yet? I’m curious to know what they dropped. I was going to buy one of the openers, but the skritt npc didn’t properly reset like the other hearts did.

I tried one, got some random stuff but I have no idea whether it was a solid value or not. Nothing that stands out, but it was a tiny sample size so I wasn’t expecting much. I’m waiting for one of those number crunchers to get to work.

I’ve opened a few, usually just getting junk. However, the very first one I opened gave me two Petrified Wood. I don’t know that sort of drop rate, though.

Only opened one which was usual chest items plus some skritt junk items. Probably a close to zero chance to get something everyone will want because it is a close to zero chance of getting it, in the long run.

I tried one. It bugged out and appeared under the map and didn’t do anything besides make comments for a while about how there weren’t any shinies there.

I opened two. One gave me a vendor junk item and a salvage item. One gave me a vendor junk item and a blue greatsword.

I bought a third and attempted to use it, but the skritt was on lower ground than the chest and it just brought up a message saying there were no shinies around and then disappeared.

So far my impressions are that they aren’t worth it. Particularly since you have to buy the “keys” from one specific vendor that you’ll have to do tasks for to open, and apparently they can bug out and just not work anyway. There also don’t seem to be that many of the chests around anyway. But who knows, maybe there’s a rare chance at some good stuff. Actually, scratch that. This is GW2, there’s definitely an insanely rare chance of getting some insanely rare good item that you’ll never get.

They’re standard loot drops, basically. I look forward to the Reddit post where somebody opens a thousand of them and logs the results.

Not going to spend over 900 karma on trash.

You need a Skritt Worker Contract to open one Skritt Stash. The Skritt heart vendor sells them.

I can’t buy the Skritt Worker Contract. I finished the Heart, and can buy other stuff, like the Petrified Wood, but not the contract.

The Skritt contract was temporarily disabled because of a bug. There’s a thread about it in the Discussion forum.

They mostly give trash and thangs, but but but, there is a really small chance at getting a mysterious rock(atleast I think that’s what its called), and thet are insanely expensive on the tp.(atleast that’s what ive seen from that other forum that was posted before.)

I don’t know if it was intentional or not, but I really appreciate your skritt impression there.
