Minor spoilers ahead (very vague though)
Can ‘/stuck’ take you to the restart node?
Some background:
I am not a great GW2 player. I avoid group because I know I’m only ‘ok’ at this game and am tired of being told to ‘L2P’. HoT has been somewhat difficult for me, but to be clear, I am not complaining or asking for a nerf. I have slowly but surely made my way through the zones and story steps.
I finally got to this step and choose Canach and Caithe to come with me. First time I tried it, I died a bunch on Blighted Canach and then I figured out how to play the fight but it bugged out on me, Blighted Canach went invincible and I couldn’t continue. Frustrated I gave up for the day. I came back to try again today and made it through the fight without dying and then through the Blighted Pale Tree (also without dying, though barely). I am at this point in time super proud of myself and determined to finish the instance.
In the Modremoth fight, I get Blighted Rytlock on my side and am waited for Canach to get his thing set up and avoiding Blighted Marjory, I ended up having to dodge backwards and ended up falling down a ledge. At this point in time I became stuck. I couldn’t jump back up, it was too high. I could jump off the ledge to my death there was an invisible wall blocking it. I was out of combat range so I couldn’t just let Marjory kill me. I thought I was going to have to exit the instance and retry the entire thing, which was really disheartening for me, like I said I’m not super great at this game so getting this far was a big accomplishment. Then I remembered about ‘/stuck’, so I tried that and it returned me to the start of the instance, problem was I couldn’t talk to Trahearne to get back to the fight.
So for rare cases like mine can we either have ‘/stuck’ return you to the restart node or make it so if you get sent back to Trahearne talking to him will send you to the restart node? So you only have to redo the fight you were on instead of being forced to redo the entire thing?
I’m just really discouraged atm.
