Remember how Rytlock speaks of sylvari in the concept art trailer? I thought it would be epic if our first meeting with him as a sylvari begins with a fight as he wouldn’t trust us, forcing us to defeat him and prove our loyalty.

1. If he doesn’t trust you, he will kill you. He’s legendary there would be no trying to defeat him, he would one shot you…
Plus he should trust you because it is assumed you’re pact commander and ally to Destiny’s Edge. Even if you ate salad.

Yeah I’ve only done the storyline as a sylvari. I kinda wonder how the dialogues are different as a non-sylvari.

To be fair, I hardly think beating someone in combat would prove your loyalty. I’m certainly not inclined to trust you any MORE if you punch me in the face a bunch of times.

You didn’t get it. In my vision, Rytlock attacks first and we prove loyalty by not killing him

No, even if rytlock will not kill you then other players will make it.
