Guild Wars 2

So a bit about my brief GW2 play before my post I played briefly at launch up till fractals then quit for awhile but with the announcement of the expansion it looks like it may have me coming back. how ever a couple questions I have a price point how much is it as I do not want to pay 30-60 dollars for something that turns out to be about five hours of content.. what lore (dragon wise) is going to be covered other than it seems like a big chunks of the southern zones past Orr? I could be wrong I haven’t seen the world map in about 3 years now is being covered. and will they not make the same mistake as they did in Arah with the horrible ending for the story with that dragon. so many lore questions… and most of all will there be a beta!

2) The new zone(s) will be located far west in the Maguuma jungle nowhere near Orr

4) The only things we know about the expansion is that they will implement Mastery system, profession specializations, a new profession: the revenant, guild halls, a new pvp mode, a new WvW borderland and a new region in the Maguuma Jungle. 5) Nothing is certain yet because they havent specified every single thing that will be implemented in this new expansion. For example we don’t know the number of zones this new region will have, we don’t know specific details on the mastery system or the profession specialization, we don’t know the exact function of the guild halls and we don’t know anything about new dungeons. So the details have not been announced yet.

Just think on this though…

$50-$65 got us:

the original Personal Story
8 professions
5 character slots
6 towns
25 PvE Maps
4 WvW maps
6-7 PvP Maps

That sets the bar. If they want us to spend $40 – $50 on an expansion, it had better be Cantha or Elona with 2 professions and 2 character slots.

With what has been announced, $20 is fair seeing as how LS 2 costs that much to open up. Throw on a Character slot and maybe $30 will be fair.
