So what weapon do you think Revenant will get for their 1st Specialization?

So we know that…

Mesmer = Shield
Ranger = Staff
Engineer = Hammer
Necro = Two-handed Sword
Guardian = Long Bow

and so far people are speculating…
Ele = One-handed Sword
Thief = Rifle
Warrior = Dagger or Pistol

If Anet follows that the Specialization release is never 2 Specialization with the same Weapon Specialization then that leaves.

Rev = Focus or Pistol or Short Bow or Torch or Scepter or Warhorn.

Hope it is one of the range Weapons because so far what is shown for Rev’s Weapon choice he or she lacks Range Weapons with Hammer being the only Range Weapon known so far.

Considering we aren’t 100% sure on what weapons they will use by default, guessing on the extra is asking a bit much.

So it has mace, axe & hammer as we know... Potentially getting sword and staff so maybe something crazy like a shortbow that shoots out aoe fields like necro staff xD or maybe greatsword for mobility (kind of like warrior) or a shield that doesn’t just absorb damage/projectiles but also can reflect moves (kind of like the hammer)

But you are just stating what I just stated. We know a few weapons from the PoI, but the rest is speculation. So no, we don’t know what they have by default. I don’t know what you were trying to prove.

his elite is glint. Glint’s a dragon, so the closest weapon to that would be either torch (fire breathing), or a magical weapon (crystals) like staff/scepter/focus.

Show that art then. All I know of is the piece of art on the Heart of Thorns website which is mistaken for a bow but which is actually a sword.

Actually that was the art i meant and i just saw it closely and noticed it is a sword.

I’m saying this is a guessing thread and what I mentioned in the OP is the best guess I can have by putting together what we know so far.

There is no rule saying people can’t guess about something just because you think people shouldn’t guess about something we don’t know yet.

Seem Rev is quite Melee orianted as I expected. At best, if none of those are the weapons for 1st Specialization, the 1st Specialization may be one of the Range Weapons after all to make up for his or her lack of Range combat abilities.
