I tried with my rev back on launch, had few issues but was rather boring.

Was going to come back to the game haven’t played sense November. Was curious what would be a better solo druid or reaper?

With druid I’d mostly stick with sword main hand and staff for group events to keep my pet and allies alive. Reaper full out minion build (using GS or daggers I’m not sure which is better dps for single or group mobs???)

Was just curious on opinions of which you think would be better and why?

I haven’t made a rev yet, so I can’t say. But I looooove my Reaper for HoT — got her pretty much full Reaper, GS/Staff and mostly shout utilities, traited to auto-shroud on killing blow. I won’t say I never die, but the jungle has to work to overwhelm me.

Even the DS reset just dumps me in shroud so I can get moving to the lanes faster, especially if I’m tagged to lead one. (Though one person yelled at me for that, claiming that WP’ing from where you get dumped dead into the map can get you booted out of the organized map so people should be nice and rez in place. Made no sense to me but s/he claimed to have experienced that).

By “solo” I assume you mean not joining a zerg, but finding folks to aid with tricky HP’s like Mushroom Queen, and squadding up for the meta to help keep things organized? Or perhaps you mean for when you want to avoid the meta and get to the PS, exploration, mastery points, and the like.

I also love Reaper for pretty much anything but especially for making may through HoT content. Very good survivability, good damage, and minions to take some of the heat off of you if needed. Our mobility still isn’t the best, however.

If you’re looking for an easy time, reaper is probably the most casual professions there is to run through HoT, followed by rangers which have an easier time tanking champions.

Oh right, I did put Traveler runes on my Reapers. Not optimum for fights but man, last thing I want in the jungle is to be running in a tar pit. And Signet of the Locust burns a slot that could be used to tell the world “YOU ARE ALL WEAKLINGS.”

I’ve discovered that my reaper survives HoT maps really well and she has a lot of options if she does get into trouble. Plus her damage with a GS is really good.

Also vote for reaper. It’s just deliciously evil and awesome. On legs. So many undead pets, so many dead mobs.

Blame Abaddon, he loves your tears.

Soloing on a Druid was fairly painless since the pet is so tanky. I use staff to escape things while shooting things with longbow. Picking up the Bristleback and Smokescale pets would help a bit.
