Like the title states, do we know if specializations are available at lvl 80 on a profession or will we be able to delve into them earlier (like at level 30 or 40 or EVEN RIGHT AWAY!)??

I’m afraid getting a reliable answer to that question from a-net staff requires either:

a) lot of time
b) solid hacking skills
c) asking politely with AK-47 as the microphone*

If b or c are not to your liking you’re stuck with a) like rest of us…

*may get you shot, jailed and/or on tv. Bullets sold separately.

Ah ok so we don’t know yet. Just wondering if that information was revealed or not yet. Thanks for answering.

Well, they haven’t said specifically when you get your spec, but it seemed to be implied that you get it before 80. The reasoning is, you start to get traits at 30 and at 80 you will get mysteries, so it’s assumed spec will come in between that somewhere (as spec is supposed to change the class mechanics in a significant way, not just add a new weapon for you, so getting it at 80 seems kind of weird). But like i said, Anet has not yet specifically said when it happens, so it’s anyone’s guess really.

I hope unlocking professions will be done by other means than just leveling. Like some training system, perhaps a set of achievements acquired by killing certain bosses and such. And each (bunch of?) profession(s) should require a different set. I want to work a little to get them.
