I feel the lack of closure for Trahearne and HoT in general. Maybe its just me but well, after an intense fight with potato mordy, I was kinda sad that the ending was just watching glittering lights entered the egg and poof, thats it lol. Even the survivor NPCs doesn’t seemed to be sad about his death.
I don’t know, i hate Trahearne at first, but he kinda grew on me (lol, pun unintended) and I actually am genuinely sad over his death.

No one’s sad because he sucked. Especially if you did your personal story like six times.

Viking funeral… napalm the whole jungle. It’s what Traherne would have wanted.

I was laughing like a maniac when he died. He gets killed by none other than me using his own sword. Simply excellent. When Trehearne said “kill me.” I was shouting at the player character to just stab him already. PC wasn’t that hesitant when letting Tybalt die.
I felt more sorry for Faolain. You can tell Caithe was at least a little bit upset. Although I think burning that deformed corpse of her’s will let out a lot of the grief.

My expectation is that the first part of the next Living Story will cover all of that. That’s how LS2 started after Scarlet. Though, we did get a legitimate closure episode at the end of LS1, also…

I agree with this. First thing he did when entering the jungle was declare war on all things living there. Let’s finish what he started and burn down the jungle. I am playing an elementalist, so I don’t mind bringing the fire, I just need a few mesmers to convince the frog people to stay in their homes, and some guardians to protect me while I work my magic.

LS3 is likely to begin with traherne’s funeral, and be quickly disrupted by disturbing news of something sinister being afoot.

Maybe a joint funeral for all who were lost.

While you are likely to be spot on, I’d like to have a few episodes to wrap up some plot holes and do some clean up; Fix up those forts, clear out some Mordy events, cut down those poor Asura that we just run by and leave hanging in the vines, fix Claw Island, clean up some of that debris in Kessex. A little respite before we get back into things. I’m sure the other three dragons will certainly be taking notice now.
Also, I think a grand funeral would be nice, maybe a graveyard or memorial too. It doesn’t have to be Wadi us-Salaam, but something where we could go and .. you know….press f to pay respects.

Id want something along the lines of a eulogy, to remember the fallen, and to remind the rest of the pact, the rest of the races, what we’re suppose to be fighting for, and how those who have fallen embody that ideal.
