Any reason for the release date in stores for Aus and Nz being the 6TH!!! of Novemeber? (only date i could find) looks like i wont be owning a physical copy, kind of a let down.

Stuff takes time to ship via boat, and that’s about the only way a boatload of games is getting to Oceania. (Sure, you could fly them in, but only if you’re interested in paying double or triple the current price.)

The digital version is scheduled to be released on October 23 worldwide. Perhaps that would be better for you? (I don’t know what the internet is like in Australia or New Zealand. Hell, I barely know where either place is located. They’re on Earth, right?) -Sid

some people prefer having a physical copy of something, i guess im just one of those people. not to mention that i missed out on beta access expecting to be able to buy it from stores on the 23rd when it was announced not the 6th. end of the day its still cheaper for me to buy the digital copy too

No, I get that. I had to have the CE of NWN. No idea why. XD But yeah, it takes a while to ship stuff by boat and most game companies are nowadays against the idea of pre-shipping across the globe. (This is likely attributable to an uptick in game thefts – one such incident happened just this past May in England: http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/truckload-splatoon-wii-u-games-stolen-game-uk-special-edition-squid-inkling-amiibo-among-victims-1503184)

But yeah, the likely reason is probably because it’s coming to you on a boat. But don’t worry. It’ll be there, and we’ll be happily waiting for you in the jungle! -Sid
