First off, I love Stronghold. It’s my favorite addition with the expansion.
But I find that more matches end in a stalemate than end in one team winning and the other loosing.

Worst of all, when you stalemate it counts as a loss for both teams and goes against everyone’s win/loss ratio.

To fix the second problem, I think it’d be fair to not treat a stalemate as a win or loss, but to just not count it towards a players win/loss ratio. Just give the rewards/xp for a loss to both teams without holding it against their records. After all, nobody won or lost so why would it count as a win or a loss?

To fix the first problem, I’m not a game designer. I don’t know how to fix it. The only idea I have is to remove the Lord’s downed state, as far too many matches seem wind up with both teams turtling in their Lord’s room rezing him forever and ever until the clock runs out.

Again, I’m not a game designer so I don’t know if removing the downed state from the Lord would cause some unforeseen consequences that would ruin the map, but fixing the Stalemates to not count against a players win/loss ratio seems like a no brainier.

Am I alone on this?
