Guild Wars 2

With the addition of Guild Halls I wanted to make the suggestion that we get a far more detailed Guild Emblem creator. Maybe make it an upgrade in the Guild Hall or something.

Seems a little weird to me that certain FPSs have more advanced options in this area than a big name MMO does.

Anyway just a thought.

Great idea. I remember when I was a guild leader we really wished for this. I had since forgot about it. Even if this isn’t on the white board for HOT it should be. Doesn’t strike me as really time consuming compared to the quality of life improvement guilds would get.

Again… great thought.

Man if we got something like, say, Cod’s emblem maker, you could do some cool stuff.

Though the down side would be, well, kittenes everywhere. Which could be lessened by only allowing guilds with enough clout to actually use an advanced version.

Edit: seriously, the male reproductive organ, even in a clinical terms, is censored? Alrighty.

Those scarves might be doable since they wouldn’t look absurd on a Charr…

That’s pretty much exactly what we had for guild capes back in GW1.

Someone posted this awhile back. I thought it looked pretty cool as far as the “cape” option goes.

This is really cool. Having a few different styles to choose from (cape at the back, scarf, hanging to the side, etc.) means that people could show off their guild colors without hampering their style. Given style is an important consideration in this game, this’d do wonders for making the various capes available for different characters. It’d also give an additional sense of cohesion to actual guild groups, to go with Guild Halls

I won’t Cate about emblem designs until I see everyone running around with capes on. Work through the glitches anet! And I’d rather have capes with glitches than no capes without glitches!

Perhaps “phallic symbols” would work?

lol, well all that aside I would love to see more variety.

Plus, I think the community would embrace it pretty well. We seems to have a fairly creative bunch.

More emblem options would be pretty sweet.
Don’t know how dificult this would be to implement, but can’t imagine its too much work.
