Huh, I thought it was double tap?

If you hold your jump key, at the top of the jump the glider will come out. It helped fixed the issue with people lagging and not being able to open the glider in time.
can we have separate key bindings for the lean techniques too? i hold down my W key all the time and doing that actives the lean, it took me awhile to realize what was going on and why i wasnt gliding for as long ;-;

Good to know, thanks, no wonder I’ve been sucking so bad at getting to the tough spots.

Ah, this is what keeps happening.
I have a habit of holding space to maximize jump height and was having a problem with unexpected glider deployment that kept getting me killed.
I’ll have to be more careful it seems.
There is absolutely no evidence to support that it would.” -AnthonyOrdon
Wow, I didn’t even realize you could hold the jump button. I’d just been dealing with the delay sometimes, like, “Hit space once, hit agai- come on, why am I still falling. I HIT SPACE TWICE. Well, there goes my air height…”
I wouldn’t be surprised if I’ve been accidentally turning off my gliding by holding the jump button and then hitting again thinking that I need to.

Well, it’s good that it helped fix the issue for them, but this is the same kind of poorly-implemented “fix” as the one that made jumping unresponsive if you’re running against a surface. Understanding why these changes were made doesn’t make it any less annoying.
