Suggestion: Engis and Strongholds
There is absolutely no huge lack of engineers in tpvp. Right now they are one of the strongest classes in tpvp and the meta build uses the celestial amulet, rifle, grenades and tool kit. And did I miss something during the stronghold streams? I thought players would be unable to damage the doors.

Then you play against very bad people, you can shut down a turret engineer by just walking away and going to another point, or simply cleave his turrets.
Thief 80 | Elementalist 80 | Mesmer 80 | Necromancer 80 | Revenant TBA
But this build: http://metabattle.com/wiki/Build:Engineer_-_Celestial_Rifle
Is actually more common in high level tpvp and way stronger trust me
OP, i believe no one should have an advantage like that in any kind of game mode…it seems so unfair…
Wat r u, casul?

I agree. Such gimmicks might be interesting for WvW where special gimmicks are already present. But not for pvp.
A professions value should be based on it’s performance, but I’d hate to see “autoattacks an inanimate object pretty well” as a plus.
It sure looked like a single rifle turret could take out all skritt bombers while you did your own thing wherever else on the map.
