Congratulations Anet development team on the Heart of Thorns gliding system! It’s really, really great. Thank you!

It’s so good, that frankly, I want more of it;
Currently, a fair deal of it suitably ‘leans’ toward a pseudo jumping puzzle theme.

I’d love to see additional areas devoted entirely to “the pleasure of the glide”—canyons and so forth with nicely positioned updrafts to keep one permanently up without the pressure of trying to find that next updraft before running out of endurance.

Also, horizontal drafts for speed!

TD has exactly what you want. They also award you with mastery and AP.

Hmm…. I think the OP is suggesting slightly more peaceful areas for gliding as the HOT meta-events and challenging mobs can interfere with the gliding experience. If gliding were implemented in the central maps that would provide some perfect areas for enjoying the “pleasure of the glide”.

Just like Beggar’s Canyon back home.

There is already large areas, away from any mobs in both VB and TD where you can glide for days, I suggest you explore a bit more and you will find them.
