This is something that really annoys me, when we’re playing a meta going on a relatively good pace to reach t4 and all of a sudden we get a map closure notice that will leads us to a new and empty t0 map….

This is something that needs to be addressed, because this is game breaking, because the map progression is tied to the meta being or not being done.

I know that the megaserver system was done before HoT, and there might be some or a lot of limitations on the system (programming wise) that prevents coming up with a solution without having to redo part or the whole megaserver system.

But there’s a simple work around.. change the timer of the map closure to 2 hours, I think that should be relatively easy, since all the metas take 2 hour maximum, the map will always close after the meta is finished…

This is my biggest issue with today’s system. I was grinding events in TD and we were 10 mins away from the meta, having 200% participation and getting the prompt to change maps due to low population since people were getting taxid out. Accepting this gets you back to zero, so you’re stuck with either failing a meta due to not enough people, or getting the shaft in terms of participation you have already earned. I can’t see why it can’t carry over, it’s not like you haven’t been putting in the work.
