Please put a function where I can right click + follow. I understand that you won’t add this because it will combat bots. I want this so I can follow a fellow players or the commander while I fix my inventory.

Since the autoloot function is in the pact mastery to combat bots, I would like this function to be added because of the same reasons. Maybe put it in another line so that bots have to master two lines in order to get these two wonderful features.

I can’t use the autorun and mouse to steer when I am talking on chat. Follow button is still useful.

Of course you can, just type when you’re numlocked on a long stretch of straight road.

That, or type a little, steer with mouse, type a little, steer, repeat. I do it all the time just fine.

Also i don’t think someone with the quote “Ask if ANet cares about their game, silence + removing your post is their answer.” in their signature can really ask for features like this to be added, it just seems.. wrong.

A QoL feature that make anet able to ban 1 of up to a 150 bot accounts since only one of them run the botting program and the rest just follow that person.

I also like the goalpost moving btw, started about following while manageing inventory something you can already do as I pointed out. Then all of a sudden you had to type while moving and i assume still manage inventory at the same time right?

I guess at some point you have to figure out do I stop for afew seconds to manage inventory or not. ( you could also get the ones you have to type to on a teamspeak to avoid that hassle aswell )

Follow option would be great imo.

I run with the same people all the time and I always end up getting turned around or need to afk for a moment. Putting them on follow would help our game play a ton. ^.^

I agree, I have always wanted a follow button. The game play ends up being better and I am able to go afk and take a break for a second. Follow button is needed. Follow Button Master Race. Why is there not a follow button?

Easier to bot farm with several accounts.

The opposite may be handy as well. I have been leading new people and they went ‘squirrel!’ and did something like a heart rather then the event I was leading them to.

I am thinking of one object I use in another VW where we do a Relay for Life event. Twenty four hours on the same track going in large circles. It allows there to be a leader and other people can hook on and follow. The leader can also use an auto-walk function (which is handy for talking or whatever) but it is slower than the pace you can walk at normally. Some function like that in GW2 would be ideal and the slower pace would mean you would not use it unless you needed it. The leader would have a debuff so it would not be as much of a cheat.
