Hi there. I’m unsure if this has been suggested before, and if it has, please merge with the existing topic.

I propose the addition of a vendor where a player can convert their existing excess skill points to an item of their choosing when the change occurs to Hero Points. Possible converted items could be:

• Karma
• Crafting Bags (any tier)
• Dungeon Tokens
• Bags of Loot (things like this)
• Possibly Laurel Gathering tools for excessive amounts of SP

These would obviously be scaled depending on how many Skill Points they would cost. You could also consider giving the vendor some of Miyani’s current stock as well so players could purchase those.

If you have any suggestions to add, please do so. Also I apologize if the suggestion isn’t warranted. The last I heard about Hero Points was that they were going to be converted into random Mystic Forge materials.

We have pretty much zero details. It will be some new currency. Might have something to do with MF vendor goods. They haven’t really said anything about it.

As I understand it, the skill points from leveling to 80 and from doing the skill point challenges will become Hero points and will be used to unlock skills and traits again after the update. The rest of your skill points from scrolls and leveling past 80 will turn into a currency that will go onto your Hero panel that will be used to buy items from Miyani.

Basically they are taking the two purposes of skill points, unlocking skills/traits and buying from Miyani, and separating them into those 2 groups. Other than that they won’t change. None will become random mystic forge materials.

Apologies then. The information I got was from a post here on the HoT forums a month or so ago when it was still new info. At least it’s nice that they’re doing it!
