I liked this idea from Guild Wars 1, where Nightfall and Factions had separate leveling campaigns from the vanilla game. You could hop into the other storylines part of the way into them when you hit level 20 with a few transitional quests. I think this would be good for Guild Wars 2, since the current campaign narrows down to only three story lines at level 40. This would give a new leveling experience for players like myself, who have played the original story a few too many times. This would give Revenants a less awkward story line to follow that still brings the character to a relatively similar place to the original story, as well as a fresh expirience for veteran players that could be more challenging than the origianal. The best part is that the original story wouldn’t be lost to these players, because they would be able to hop into it at the mid-end of leveling.

It’s pretty clear that there isn’t going to be any new leveling stuff in the expansion, as it seems to heavily be based on end-game.

That would be unfortunate, because I’ve played the Personal Story to the point where it would be boring even with a new class. It’s also just a suggestion. I wasn’t predicting that it was going to happen. It could gain traction, though.

They’ve stated that the biggest goal with HoT is to expand end-game play by introducing content that is infinitely replayable. Replacing the entire personal and living story just to avoid a plot hole seems like a wee bit of an unnecessary diversion from that focus.
