As many of us know, running fractals will slowly give so many rings that in time those rings become nothing more than just some silver you sell to a merchant. But i think it would be great if you guys would add something to use these rings on. I therefore suggest three options.
1: Adding a collection for Ascended rings would be a nice way to make these rings more rewarding, it also makes sure that every ring gets some added value instead of people just wanting those berserker rings.
2: Salvaging ascended rings: I’m not sure about what these would give you when salvaged, maybe even just some ectos. But it just doesn’t seem right that at the moment exotic rings seem to have more value than ascended rings.
3: Put them in the mystic forge. Even if they only had a slight chance to give a ring of exotic quality, i think it would be something that would be much appreciated by the community.

If you guys have any other ideas, comments on my suggestion or if you don’t agree on me, please let me know!

I like the collection idea, but honestly, as far as actually getting rid of them, the merchant is effective enough. Clearly the effort to get them isn’t high enough to get a big reward, since people are complaining about how many they have.

The collection idea sounded like the optimal solution to me as well.

Would love to get a reply from a gm regarding asc rings. If you check the amount of topics concerning the ascended rings its insane.

Even if the response is that they’re not gonna change it then it would be a informative for the people stacking those rings..

People are complaining about how many they have because they’ve been doing fractals for over two years. It’s not like they got this many rings in a month.

People were complaining about how many they had within two weeks of the release, so yeah, they kinda did.

Threads asking for things to do with excess rings are almost as old as the rings themselves. The answer was even implemented in the same patch as the rings were: merch them.

Yes sell them for 5s and move on people.
