You should get all Hero Points for the Elite Specialisation by doing the 16 Heart of Thorns Chapters. The 10 Hero Points Events instead should give you 10 Level Up Scrolls for your other heroes.

10 whole levels for a single hero point? That’s a little bit absurd. The concentration of tome of knowledge is already high enough as it is. If all of this is handed to you what is there to even work for in pve?

(At least you’ve realised that the elite specs require hero points and not xp, as you thought in your other post. That’s progress. )

If you do all the hero points in core tyria you only need a couple in the HOT maps, and most of those can be commune points. There are plenty of communes in VB. Enjoy.

I have over 30 maxed Charakters in Marvel Heroes and there it is fun to Level up with Killing Enemies. In Guild Wars 2 you are only hunting for the Hero Point Events. You are working on a faulty assumption here. You don’t get even close to a level for doing one HoT hero point. What you get is 10 hero points towards your elite spec, some xp, and some loot. Maybe some karma, I don’t pay attention to that part.

Also not every Hero Point is an event. Some are as simple as running up to them and pressing F and then not getting damaged during the channel. Are you confusing Hero Points and Mastery Points? As there are some events that do give Mastery Points the first time you do them on your account.

Want to twink alts by fast leveling them? Do the daily. You get hunks of xp in transferable form, as well as 2 gold, just for doing three things that often take under 15 minutes. I think my fastest daily was around 5 minutes when I had the option of harvesting 4 things, viewing one vista, and spending 30 badges of honor. Most of the 5 minutes was travel time.
